Overview

Facility Equipment Operator

Shift: Night Shift - 2:00 PM - 12:00 PM

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Equipment Operation: Operate one or more of the following: Backhoe, Heavy duty crane, Heavy duty forklift, Track hoe. Operate a forklift as needed.
• Maintenance & Safety: Complete a daily operational checklist. Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure safe operation. Secure containers (using chock blocks, jack stands, etc.) and complete waste tracking paperwork.
• Environment: Maintain a clean work area and adhere to Health & Safety standards.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 0 to 3 years
  • Certification: Equipment operation training is preferred

Physical & Other Requirements

• Physical: Medium work: Frequent lifting/carrying up to 25 lbs (max 50 lbs occasionally); Frequent bending, climbing, and extended periods of sitting/standing
• Driving: Occasional driving of cars and forklifts
• Vision & Hearing: Must meet standard vision (near, far, peripheral, color) and hearing requirements to safely operate equipment
