You will gain hands-on experience through maintenance, repair and service calls while learning company standards and safety protocols. The role emphasizes reading schematics, maintaining parts inventories, driving to stores, and documenting repairs.

Qualifications

• Experience reading schematics.
• EPA Type 1 Certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational school education.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and overtime.
• Assist in preventive maintenance tasks on buildings and equipment.
• Develop troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Assist in component replacement.
• Maintain accurate inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles and lifts safely.
• Daily driving to stores to service sites.
• Keep service vehicles clean and maintained.
• Communicate with store personnel about equipment use.
• Use company email for communications.
• Document repairs, labor, parts purchasing and usage promptly.
• Follow all policies and procedures.
• Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 70 lbs, climbing ladders, and exposure to varying temperatures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to handle conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Demonstrate honesty and integrity in handling customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, or older adults.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preventive maintenance tasks and procedures for buildings and equipment.
• Develop skills for troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
• Assist in performing component replacement.
• Maintain an accurate and organized inventory of parts.
• Operate equipment, vehicles, powered industrial trucks and aerial lifts safely.
• Drive daily to stores as assigned.
• Complete repair, labor, parts purchasing and usage documentation promptly.
• Comply with department and company policies and procedures.
• Communicate with store personnel regarding proper use of equipment and repeat calls.
• Work in varying temperatures inside and outside stores.
