Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental in Jeannette, PA seeks an experienced Facility EH&S Manager to support its recycling and manufacturing facility. This role ensures safe, compliant operations across regulated medical waste, recovered materials, and polymer lumber production.

You will collaborate with facility leadership, Production, Maintenance, Engineering, and Corporate Compliance to reduce risk and promote a strong safety culture through practical procedures and training.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in environmental health and safety, occupational safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with OSHA general industry standards and environmental requirements.
• Experience developing and conducting employee training.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize EHS risks with facility leadership and integrate safe work practices.
• Develop and maintain EHS programs supporting regulated medical waste, storage, treatment, and processing.
• Lead risk assessments and job hazard analyses; prioritize engineering controls and verify safeguards.
• Coordinate machine safety and lockout/tagout programs; oversee training and inspections.
• Support compliant waste handling, inspections, storage controls, and documentation.
• Maintain compliance calendars, inspection-ready records, permits, and regulatory reporting.
• Conduct facility inspections and EHS audits across shifts.
• Coordinate industrial hygiene assessments and exposure control programs.
• Integrate EHS review into new equipment, process changes, and startup.
