Avenues Recovery Center in Metairie, LA, seeks Facility Drivers for detox and residential treatment transport. You will safely transport clients for admit, discharge and appointments, collect documents, and assist with on-site duties. Applicants should have a valid driver's license and 1 year in the treatment field preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in treatment industry preferred.
• Current and valid state-issued driver's license.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Dignified, respectful character reflecting recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Monitor transportation schedule and safely transport clients for admit, discharge and appointments.
• Collect and deliver external appointment documentation and lab specimens.
• Engage clients on peer support during transport and assist with luggage.
• Ensure vehicle is well-maintained, fueled, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist with custodial and maintenance duties when not actively transporting.
