In 2019, Ward Home joined the Auberle family and has three programs in our Young Adult Services Department.

Program Description:

The Family Healing Center (FHC) is an innovative licensed inpatient 3.5 detoxification and addiction treatment facility dedicated to comprehensive addiction recovery and family healing. FHC provides a holistic approach to recovery, offering personalized care for individuals struggling with addiction while actively involving their families in the healing process.

Through evidence-based therapies, trauma-informed care, and family support programs, FHC addresses the root causes of addiction, promoting emotional and behavioral well-being. Children live on-site with their parents during treatment, allowing families to stay connected and supported throughout recovery. The program empowers individuals to rebuild their lives and strengthens family bonds, fostering a supportive environment for long-term resilience.

Position Title and Overview:

Facility Director - Family Healing Center

  • Lead and manage all aspects of facility operations, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (DDAP, DHS, CYF) to maintain high-quality care.
  • Inspire and develop a multidisciplinary team, providing leadership to program, clinical, and medical staff while fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and evidence-based service delivery.
  • Ensure care aligns with ASAM Criteria and promote trauma-informed practices that empower the individuals and families served.
  • Oversee budgeting and financial planning, ensuring responsible resource management and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the organization and external entities, including funders, government agencies, referral sources, and community partners.

Location and Travel Requirements:

This position is primarily located in Mt. Oliver. All staff are expected to attend training, meetings, and events at the Main Campus in McKeesport as scheduled.

Travel for this role is regular and required.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

  • Act 33/34 and FBI clearances required
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or related fields
  • Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, registration, and proof of insurance
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical direct service experience, 2 years of program planning, and 2 years of supervisory experience
  • This role involves shift work, including weekends, evenings, overnights, and holidays
