Job summary

Staffmark Group is hiring a Sanitation Worker in Houma, LA. The role pays $12.00 per hour and runs 6am–4pm, Monday through Friday. You will perform general janitorial and sanitation tasks to keep a warehouse and office areas clean, safe, and presentable.

Candidates should be able to follow schedules, use cleaning equipment, and work independently with attention to detail. High school diploma or GED preferred; custodial or facilities maintenance experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Custodial/janitorial/housekeeping experience is beneficial.
• Ability to safely use cleaning equipment, tools and products.
• Strong attention to detail and workplace safety.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial, cleaning and sanitation tasks in warehouse and office areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals as needed.
• Follow safety rules and assigned duties according to business needs.
