Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor in Slidell, LA to maintain and preserve assigned areas across client sites with a flexible approach to duties per client specifications. The role is a Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM shift.

This full-time position pays $12 per hour with on-the-job training provided. A high school diploma or six months janitorial experience is acceptable; strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Clean restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste as required.
• Clean windows and glass partitions; spot-clean carpets.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies; follow the housekeeping schedule.
