• Dust and disinfect break areas, appliances, furniture, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Full-Time Facility Custodian to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility. This position plays an important role in ensuring our employees and visitors have a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works well independently, and is committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning and Maintenance

• Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the facility
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors
• Clean and sanitize restrooms
• Wash windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces
• Dust and disinfect break areas, appliances, furniture, fixtures, and other high-touch surfaces
• Help maintain the cleanliness of the building and surrounding grounds

Inventory and Organization

• Monitor the inventory of cleaning supplies
• Order additional cleaning products and supplies as needed
• Keep custodial equipment clean, organized, and in good working condition

Safety and Compliance

• Identify and report unsafe conditions to management
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Wear required personal protective equipment while working on the manufacturing floor
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Team Support

• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Assist with additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills

• Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and proper cleaning techniques
• Strong time-management and multitasking skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• One to two years of custodial, janitorial, or related cleaning experience preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to push cleaning carts and equipment
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment while working on the manufacturing floor
