Job summary

Acadia Healthcare in Greenville, NC is seeking a food service cook to implement menus and coordinate meal preparation for institutional settings.

Under general direction, you will cook per approved menus, supervise staff, ensure cleanliness, inventory, and compliance with safety standards, working with dietitians to keep meals nutritious and appetizing. High school diploma preferred; ServSafe certification and 2+ years’ experience in institutional food service are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Additional education or training in the culinary field preferred.
• Two or more years’ experience in food service role in preparing food for institutions, such as school, hospital or cafeteria preferred.

Licenses/Designations/Certifications
