Estimated Pay Range: $26.40 - $44.00 / hour, based on location, education, and experience.

Work Shift: Day

This is a fully remote position available in specific states. The role involves high-complexity inpatient coding, requiring at least 5 years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care facility, along with relevant certifications such as CCS, COC, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA.

The position entails coding all service lines, including trauma, ICU, cardiac, transplant, orthopedics, high-risk OB, NICU, and more, with ICD-10-PCS experience. Banner provides internal coding education and expects a productivity of 1-2 charts per day with a DRG accuracy rate of 95% or higher.

Core functions include analyzing medical records, accurately coding diagnoses and procedures, abstracting clinical data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and acting as a subject-matter expert. The role requires a high school diploma or higher, with specific coding certifications and 5+ years of inpatient coding experience.

Preferred qualifications include an associate degree or equivalent experience, and previous experience in large healthcare organizations. The closing date for applications is 2025-09-20.
