Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor to perform all-purpose cleaning and maintenance inside client facilities. The role requires flexibility to adapt to different sites and tasks as directed.

Responsibilities include floor care, restroom cleaning, trash removal, window cleaning, and other duties as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent and attention to detail are required; on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or six months janitorial experience
• On the job training will be provided
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions effectively

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces (sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming)
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners to prevent damage
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, entrances
• Empty trash and use of compactor for certain materials
• Clean windows, glass, mirrors with appropriate cleaners and equipment
• Spot clean carpets and assist in carpet extractions/shampooing
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies
• Follow housekeeping schedule
• Occasionally use heavy cleaning equipment (floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers)
• Other duties as assigned per client needs
