Job summary

WJC EPA in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated custodial worker to perform a variety of cleaning and building services in public and work space areas. You will follow contract specifications, maintain restrooms, clean kitchens, and ensure a safe, sanitary environment for occupants.

Responsibilities include moving heavy items, maintaining equipment, and adhering to security and building policies. High school diploma preferred; six months of custodial experience encouraged and benefits include

Qualifications

• Six months of custodial work experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and environmental requirements.
• Ability to work with limited direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning in public and work spaces according to contract specifications.
• Clean restrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas; disinfect as required.
• Move, arrange and lift heavy items; attend required meetings and trainings.
• Ensure tools and supplies are kept clean and orderly; report issues promptly.
