Job summary

LV Petroleum is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Cleaners to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our facilities. The Cleaner will ensure restrooms, offices, and common areas are sanitized, orderly, and ready for daily operations.

Ideal candidates have attention to detail, strong reliability, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Cleaning, janitorial, housekeeping, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub stairs and floors; maintain floor cleanliness.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, counters, shelving, and equipment.
• Clean doors, windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners; replenish supplies.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards and repair needs promptly.
• Collaborate with management and team members to ensure a clean environment.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

Position Summary

LV Petroleum is seeking dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused Cleaners to maintain outstanding cleanliness and presentation standards across our facilities. The Cleaner plays a critical role in creating a positive experience for customers, employees, and visitors by ensuring all assigned areas remain clean, organized, sanitized, and operationally ready.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, demonstrates strong attention to detail, and consistently delivers high standards of cleanliness in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning & Maintenance

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, common areas, and customer-facing spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, scrub, and maintain floors throughout assigned facilities.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, counters, shelving, and equipment.
• Clean doors, windows, mirrors, glass surfaces, and high-touch areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility.
• Replenish restroom and sanitation supplies as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized storage and janitorial areas.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Follow all company safety procedures and cleaning protocols.

• Utilize cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, and repair needs promptly.
• Support adherence to company cleanliness, sanitation, and inspection standards.
• Comply with all applicable OSHA and workplace safety requirements.

Team Support

• Maintain a professional and customer-friendly appearance.
• Respond promptly to urgent cleaning needs.
• Collaborate with management and team members to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and facility preparation as requested.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach regularly.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors as required.

Work Environment

The Cleaner will work in a fast-paced operational environment that may include convenience stores, travel centers, office facilities, food service areas, and other LV Petroleum locations. Work schedules may include mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts based on business needs.
