Job summary

Lineage is seeking a dependable janitorial associate in Reno, NV to maintain clean facilities including warehouse and freezer areas, and to perform sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and general upkeep.

The role requires operating floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks, working in cold (-20 F) and dry storage environments, and following all safety standards. This is a full-time position paying $18 per hour with weekend shifts possible.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and pallet jacks.
• Comfort handling cleaning chemicals.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand instructions in English.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius.
• Must lift a minimum of 20 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule and weekends if needed.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and vacuum hallways, stairs, breakrooms and office spaces.
• Wash and sweep inside facility and pick up discarded trash.
• Perform general maintenance of entire facility including warehouse and freezer.
• Remove ice and pick up pieces of pallets.
• Keep grounds clean and free of debris.
• Ensure cleaning materials and equipment are in good working condition and stocked.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
