Job summary

Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks in Springdale, AR seeks a Facility CEO with proven senior hospital leadership experience to guide clinical and operational strategy and drive high-quality patient care.

The CEO will oversee nursing, business development, finance, regulatory affairs, and contract negotiations, build collaborative partnerships, manage budgets, and promote a patient-centered culture across the facility.

Qualifications

• Proven 5+ years CEO experience in an acute freestanding children-adolescent mental/behavioral health setting is required.
• Master’s degree in related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships within complex networks, including referral sources and external patient care partners.

Responsibilities

• Operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments to drive high quality patient care outcomes.
• Ensure quality metrics are achieved through clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate medical staff participation in new ventures and target development of new areas of care.
• Develop positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders including community partners and other health systems.
• Prepare viable budgets with the leadership team and manage revenues and expenses.
• Manage contract negotiations and ensure compliance with payor networks.
• Stay informed about emerging behavioral health care delivery models and apply them where appropriate.
• Grow and sustain high patient census across all units.
• Embrace corporate reporting structures and drive organizational alignment.

Perimeter Behavioral of the Ozarks is a certified Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), licensed by the State of Arkansas, and is accredited by the Joint Commission. Every aspect of the program is suited to meeting the needs of adolescent girls who have been impacted by trauma. Residents range in age from 10-17and are referred from all over Arkansas, as well as other states around the country. Ozarks small size allows for a strong family-like culture that is shared among residents and staff.

The Facility - Chief Executive’s responsibilities include the following:

• Operational management of clinical and non-clinical departments including but not limited to: Nursing, Business Development, Process Improvement, Finance, Clinical Services, Regulatory Affairs that effectively drive high quality patient care outcomes.
• Ensure quality metrics are achieved through sound clinical processes following accreditation and regulatory agency guidelines.
• Coordinate medical staff participation in new ventures and targets, develop new areas of care.
• Develops positive relationships and promotes collaborations with internal and external stakeholders – including community partners, agencies, and other health delivery systems.
• Regularly communicate with direct supervisors, Perimeter's EVP Operations, and with the Home Office Team.
• In conjunction with the Executive Leadership Team, prepare viable budgets, and manage the budgets with attention to both revenue and expenses. Utilize financial information to inform / drive other programmatic decisions, such as shifting of resources, new revenue, and new referral sources.
• Effectively manage contract negotiations and compliance with the commercial payor community.
• Stay informed about emerging models in behavioral health care delivery, including integrated care and collaborative care models, and their applications in community mental health care settings.
• Grow and sustain high patient census in all units.
• Understand and embrace corporate support and reporting structures.

Qualified Facility- Chief Executive Officer candidates should have the following:

• Proven 5+ years CEO experience in an acute freestanding children-adolescent mental/ behavioral health setting is required.
