Job summary

UniFirst Corporation is seeking a reliable Maintenance Custodian to join our team in Austin, TX. You will perform housekeeping across offices, kitchens, common areas, and production floors, ensuring restrooms and break areas remain clean and stocked.

On-site training is provided with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule and occasional overtime. We offer great benefits including 401(k) with match, health insurance, tuition reimbursement, Paid Time Off, and referral bonuses.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• 18+ to work near heights and electricity.
• High school education or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning materials and safe chemical usage.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Utilize equipment to perform housekeeping operations on floors and surfaces.
• Clean and stock restrooms, kitchens, breakrooms.
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness across office and production areas.
• Replace light bulbs and relocate furniture as directed.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor and assist as needed.
