Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning, janitorial, custodial or vehicle detailing preferred.

Responsibilities

Facilities & Vehicle Maintenance Assistant

Irvine, CA - Part-time

About the Position

We are seeking a reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented Facilities & Vehicle Maintenance Assistant to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our company facilities and vehicles. This is a hands-on, part-time position with a flexible schedule. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, is dependable, comfortable working independently, and has a strong eye for cleanliness and detail. The position will support cleaning and general upkeep across three company locations, as well as cleaning and maintaining company vans and other vehicles.

Responsibilities

Facility Cleaning

• Clean and maintain assigned company facilities and common areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, wipe down and disinfect surfaces.
• Clean bathrooms, breakrooms, offices and other designated areas.
• Empty trash and recycling and replace liners.
• Clean windows, doors and other high-touch surfaces as needed.
• Keep facilities neat, organized and presentable.
• Perform occasional deeper cleaning projects as needed.
• Report maintenance, safety or facility concerns to management.
• Follow established cleaning checklists and company procedures.

Company Vehicle Cleaning

• Wash and clean company vans and vehicles on a regular schedule.
• Vacuum and clean vehicle interiors.
• Wipe down dashboards, doors, seats and other interior surfaces.
• Clean windows and mirrors.
• Wash exterior surfaces, wheels and tires.
• Remove dirt, debris and stains as needed.Maintain a clean and professional appearance of company vehicles.
• Report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns to management.

General Duties

• Travel between company locations as needed during scheduled work hours.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Safely use cleaning products, equipment and tools.
• Follow all company safety procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while working in company facilities.
• Complete assigned tasks thoroughly and on schedule.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning, janitorial, custodial or vehicle detailing experience preferred.
• Reliable and dependable with good attendance.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable performing physical cleaning tasks.
• Able to lift and carry cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Valid California driver's license and acceptable driving record required, as the position may require operation of company vehicles.
• Must be comfortable traveling between company locations.
• Professional, respectful and trustworthy.
• Experience cleaning vans, fleet vehicles or commercial vehicles is a plus.

Schedule

• Part-time
• Approximately 15-25 hours per week
• Flexible scheduling
• Schedule may vary based on facility and vehicle-cleaning needs
• Some daytime and/or early morning hours may be available
