This position supports the work of the Ozarks Regional YMCA, a leading nonprofit organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and welcoming operation of YMCA facilities by performing routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks. This role completes minor to moderate repairs across building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general facility components, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and functionality. Working under the direction of the Vice President of Facilities and Property, the Facilities Maintenance Technician responds to daily maintenance needs, assists with facility inspections, and supports emergency response during scheduled shifts. This position works independently with minimal supervision, travels between association branches as needed, and plays a key role in ensuring YMCA facilities remain safe, operational, and member-ready, contributing to a positive experience for members, staff, and guests while modeling the YMCA’s core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
