Job summary

UCI Health seeks a Supervisor, Facilities Management to oversee daily operations, provide technical guidance, and supervise staff across assigned facilities. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and service excellence within a high‑performing medical center environment.

The incumbent will recruit, train, and coach coworkers, maintain records, and travel regularly to support UCI Health facilities. Strong elevator systems knowledge and customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory experience in physical plant operations or related field.
• Strong knowledge of elevator types, codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Knowledge of strategies to improve utility usage efficiency in high‑performance medical center buildings.
• Current State of California Driver's License.
• Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day facilities operations and staff.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision across locations.
• Ensure safety compliance and service excellence within the area of assignment.
• Recruit, orient, train, and coach coworkers; manage performance.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure coworker coverage across shifts.
• Travel onsite to UCI Health facilities to support operations.
