Job summary

Mountaire Farms is seeking personnel to keep the facility clean and obstacle-free, perform yard work, load and unload, and obtain forklift, jockey and pallet jack licenses. The role requires a valid driver’s license and MVR checks, with 0-2 years’ experience and basic maintenance skills.

This on-site position emphasizes safety and adherence to Mountaire procedures while ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and pallet handling across shifts at our NC facility.

Qualifications

• HS/Vocational.
• 0-2 years’ experience.
• Must have valid Drivers License and must satisfy Company Motor Vehicle Record check requirements.
• Maintenance skills.
• Jockey license, Forklift and Pallet Jack operation.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for keeping facility clean and clear of debris, haul trash and routine maintenance tasks related to facilities upkeep.
• Maintain yard in summer/snow removal in winter.
• Sort wood pallets, using forklift or pallet jacks.
• Has jockey license, loads and unloads trailers.
• Follow all Mountaire Safety procedures and protocols.
