Axiom Space seeks a resilient Facilities Technician to support our expanding facilities team in Houston. The role focuses on maintaining and outfitting facilities to meet our growing business needs, with emphasis on building systems and proactive problem solving.

The candidate should be passionate about space, able to work independently, and capable of handling time-sensitive projects in a dynamic environment, including overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or trade school equivalence and 5+ years of facilities experience.
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing experience preferred and ability to operate in fast-moving environments.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.
• Perform maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
• Provide scheduled and unscheduled repairs and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Inspect and maintain shop areas; operate and maintain shop equipment.
• Possibly operate heavy machinery and document daily site progress.
