Job summary

Saint Mary Home, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safety and comfort for residents in West Hartford, CT. This full-time, day-shift position involves hands-on repairs and coordinating with staff to keep building systems functioning smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years experience in building maintenance or repairs preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to lift, climb, and work in variable conditions.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic repairs like fixing doors, lights, and plumbing.
• Help keep heating, cooling, and other building systems running smoothly.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Support room setups and furniture moves.
• Work with outside vendors when needed.
