Job summary

Grace Management, Inc. at Vista Pointe at Green Valley is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, well-maintained community buildings and grounds.

You will handle electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, heating and cooling, and general repairs while upholding high safety and service standards for residents. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 2–3 years in maintenance, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two to three years of experience in maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical or HVAC.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must be able to push loaded cart and use vacuum cleaner, buffer, and carpet cleaning machines.
• Ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must be able to relate to residents and staff in a courteous and diplomatic manner.
• Must be able to work flexible hours.
• Successful criminal background check and drug testing required.
• Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of proper cleaning materials.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and upkeep of building, equipment, and grounds.
• Perform exterior and interior maintenance including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and structural tasks.
• Monitor and coordinate with contractors; ensure compliance with leases and warranties.
• Keep accurate records including equipment serial numbers.
• Follow emergency procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist with turnover duties in resident apartments and participate in department activities.
