Job summary

Henkel's St. Louis facility seeks a Facilities Technician to maintain a safe, sanitary, and operational site. You’ll perform heavy-duty cleaning, basic facilities maintenance, and support production and admin tasks, following OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities include janitorial duties, sanitation of production areas, waste disposal, light maintenance, and safe handling of chemicals. You’ll work with equipment like ride-on scrubbers and floor buffers.

Qualifications

• Safety knowledge of chemical cleaning products, SDS, and safety practices.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• Experience operating cleaning equipment and learning to use new tools.
• Able to read chemical labels and follow safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Keep the facility safe, sanitary, and operational, following OSHA regulations.
• Assist in day-to-day operations of production, administrative and support functions.
• Janitorial & sanitation duties: clean and disinfect restrooms, breakrooms, offices; mop and vacuum floors.
• Sanitize production surfaces and machinery; remove debris for safe walkways.
• Dispose of trash and waste in accordance with regulations.
• Assist with moving heavy equipment and basic facilities maintenance.
• General grounds upkeep and light repairs; report defects.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and restrooms essentials.
