Job summary

Flynn Fitness Group LLC in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Facilities Technician to perform skilled maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general systems for Planet Fitness clubs. You’ll work closely with the Facilities Coordinator and cross-functional teams to keep facilities safe and operational.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of facility maintenance experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of facility maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid and current driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with fitness equipment maintenance is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Manage building automation and lighting controls; oversee access control and tracking systems.
• Coordinate with facilities team and external vendors to ensure safety and uptime.
• On-call for after-hours, weekend, and emergency maintenance as needed.
