Job summary

Saab, Inc. seeks a Facilities Specialist to support daily operations and maintenance of its facilities. Based at Bristol, RI, the role also provides intermittent coverage at Cranston, RI and Quincy, MA, performing carpentry, painting, electrical, and general maintenance tasks.

The position also supports MEP systems, works with contractors, and helps manage AV setups, site documentation, and vendor coordination. The role evolves toward advanced preventive maintenance and project leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot facilities-related issues with analytical problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations and maintenance of Saab's facilities across multiple sites.
• Perform general handyman duties including furniture moves, carpentry, painting, cleaning and basic electrical work.
• Assist with building and equipment repairs and preventive maintenance programs.
