Job summary

Ymca Of The North Shore in Marblehead, MA is hiring a Facilities Technician at LynchVan Otterloo YMCA. The role covers routine maintenance, repairs, light construction, and preventative maintenance on building systems, with responsibility for outdoor grounds maintenance including landscaping and snow removal.

You will support aquatics maintenance, respond to maintenance requests and emergencies, conduct safety inspections, track supplies, and coordinate with vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED/HiSET, or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of facilities or maintenance experience (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.).
• Knowledge of OSHA and safety compliance standards
• Preferred: OSHA certification and/or trade licenses
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks

• Active, hands-on role requiring lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
