Job summary

KDC-ONE in Groveport, OH is seeking a Facilities Technician to support operation, maintenance, and repair of our manufacturing environment. You will work across electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry, and mechanical functions following SOPs and safety rules.

This role requires hands-on troubleshooting and the ability to read blueprints and manuals. You will lift up to 50 pounds, wear PPE, and participate in safety programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of facility maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections of facility and equipment.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and restore operation.
• Perform electrical work including wiring and lighting.
• Complete welding, soldering, and brazing projects.
• Operate shop equipment safely.
• Read and interpret blueprints and SOPs.
• Order parts and supplies for maintenance.
• Maintain documentation and safety procedures.
