Job summary

Ascension Living's Via Christi Village Manhattan in Manhattan, KS is seeking a Maintenance & Facilities staff member on rotating/PRN schedule. You will assist with testing, inspection, and maintenance of equipment and structures, perform minor repairs, and help move items between locations.

Some duties may occur at residents' homes, with strict safety and regulatory compliance. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent (or related experience).

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Boiler Operator preferred as professional licensure/certification.
• Driver's License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing testing, inspection, implementation and maintenance of equipment, systems and structures.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements, including replacing light bulbs and fire extinguishers.
• Move items within/between locations and from/to storage, including furniture, equipment, and files.
• May perform duties at participant's home or place of residence.
• Know and adhere to safety codes and regulatory agency requirements.

Education

High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience

Boiler Operator preferred
