Job summary

The NEEDS Center in Orange Park, FL is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and repair the Day Program facilities and seven residential group homes. This hands-on role ensures a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff, performing carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and other maintenance tasks on weekdays from 8am to 4pm.

• Experience with basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work is essential.
• Proficiency with drywall repair and painting preparation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting as needed.
• Respond to service requests promptly and complete work orders.
• Maintain and inspects facilities to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for residents and staff.
• Collaborate with residents, staff, and supervisors in a professional manner.
• Maintain documentation such as logs and timesheets and follow HIPAA where applicable.
