A local manufacturing client is seeking a dedicated Facilities Technician to maintain building structures and mechanical systems across two facilities. This hands-on role involves coordinating external vendors and ensuring regulatory compliance while handling preventive and corrective maintenance. We are looking for individuals with at least 3 years of experience, relevant certifications, and strong problem-solving skills to thrive in a dynamic environment. This position offers a 6-month contract-to-hire with competitive pay rates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial or facility maintenance.
• Proficiency with emergency fire suppression systems.
• Skill in reading technical drawings, schematics, blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Act as point of contact for external service providers.
• Manage vendors for maintenance and inspections.
• Schedule snow removal and landscaping through landlord contacts.
