This role provides advanced technical expertise, project coordination, and operational support through facilities projects, vendor coordination, campus operations, and technical problem‑solving that support ministry across all campuses.

What You'll Be Doing
Facilities Projects & Operational Coordination
- Lead facilities improvement projects from planning through completion across all campuses
- Coordinate project schedules, ministry stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and internal support teams
- Help keep projects on scope, within budget, and on schedule while providing regular updates to the Facilities Manager
- Exercise sound judgment in determining when issues require escalation to the Facilities Manager
- Identify opportunities to improve facility systems, operational processes, and campus readiness
- Support continual improvement of facilities standards, processes, and ministry environments
Vendor & Contractor Coordination
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers
- Solicit bids, evaluate proposals, and provide recommendations to the Facilities Manager based on quality, stewardship, and organizational needs
- Coordinate contractor schedules, oversee work in progress, and help ensure projects are completed according to expectations
- Coordinate contract renewals, monitor vendor performance, and communicate recommendations to the Facilities Manager
- Help ensure vendor work reflects The Crossing's standards of excellence, stewardship, and safety
Campus Facilities & Building Operations
- Help maintain the safety, security, functionality, and operational readiness of facilities across all campuses
- Coordinate preventative maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, work orders, and facility improvements
- Maintain awareness of campus priorities and proactively identify maintenance concerns before they impact ministry
- Partner with campus staff to ensure facilities effectively support ministry programming and weekend experiences
- Support building access systems, alarm systems, keys, security procedures, and contractor access as assigned
- Coordinate inventory, equipment, and consumable supplies to support daily ministry operations
Ministry Event & Operational Support
- Partner with ministries during planning and execution of churchwide events, conferences, and special initiatives
- Coordinate facilities support for event logistics, room setups, campus readiness, and operational needsUtilize scheduling systems and operational reports to effectively allocate facilities resources
- Help ensure ministry environments are prepared, functional, safe, and distraction‑free
Resource Stewardship & Administration
- Coordinate purchasing requests, invoices, receipts, inventory, and facilities resource planning
- Provide input regarding equipment replacement, operational improvements, facility needs, and annual planning
- Maintain documentation related to inspections, preventative maintenance, vendors, projects, and building systems
- Research products, equipment, contractors, and facilities solutions that improve stewardship and ministry effectiveness
- Continue developing knowledge of facilities systems, maintenance practices, and operational best practices
Collaboration & Project Coordination
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ministries, campuses, and Central teams to support churchwide ministry initiatives
- Provide project coordination, technical guidance, and day-to-day direction for Facilities staff, volunteers, vendors, and contractors during assigned projects
- Help foster a healthy, collaborative, and mission-driven staff culture
- Provide support and problem‑solving in fast‑paced and evolving ministry environments
- Perform other ministry‑related responsibilities as assigned in support of the mission, vision, and values of The Crossing
What You'll Bring To The Team
What you’ll bring to the team
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Five years of progressively responsible experience in facilities, construction, building maintenance, project coordination, or a related field
- Experience coordinating facilities projects and working with vendors or contractors
- Moderate technology proficiency including Google Workspace, spreadsheets, work order systems, and communication platforms
- Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills
- Valid driver's license
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Experience
- Eight years of progressively responsible experience in facilities operations, construction, maintenance, project coordination, or a related field
- Experience working in a church, nonprofit, education, hospitality, or multi‑site organization
- Experience coordinating vendor contracts and facility improvement projects
- Project management training or certification preferred
- Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to other facilities team members
