This role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural components.**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*** Conduct thorough inspections, repairs, and/or preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems.* Perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.* Complete installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, and building infrastructure.* Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the Maintenance Supervisor.* Provide training and guidance to entry-level technicians and assist with their development.* Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and services.* Respond to maintenance requests promptly and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.* Perform other duties as assigned.**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES)*** High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in building maintenance or a related field.* Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.* Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, and perform physical tasks as required.* Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS*** Experience in an industrial setting.* Knowledge of building automation systems and controls.* Familiarity with regulatory compliance and safety standards.* Vocational training or certification in a relevant trade (e.g., HVAC, electrical, plumbing).MSI Express is an equal opportunity employer.
