Ingram Micro, Inc. in Irvine, CA is seeking a Facilities Technician II to oversee the day-to-day operation of our corporate office.
This onsite role handles maintenance coordination, vendor management, and compliance activities to maintain a clean, safe, and productive workplace across 180,000 square feet. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage work orders, monitor building systems, and support preventive maintenance efforts to minimize downtime and extend asset life.
This position is based onsite at our corporate headquarters in Irvine, California. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The Facilities Technician II is an advanced-level role responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the Ingram Micro corporate office consisting of 180,000 Square Feet across three floors. They must ensure a clean, safe, efficient, and productive workplace environment. This role oversees vendor performance, maintenance coordination, and compliance activities while serving as the primary liaison between employees and service providers. Tech II employees work with a high degree of independence as well as with department team members and cross-functional departments.
Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues and employee requests via work order system.
Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair activities with landlords and third-party service providers.
Monitor facility conditions and ensure timely resolution of workplace issues.
Execute and help refine preventive maintenance processes to reduce downtime and improve asset lifespan.
Assist with facilities related workload planning, vendor management, and task prioritization.
Assist the Sr. Manager, Facilities on projects.
Manage relationships with janitorial, security, pest control, offices services, and other workplace vendors.
Monitor vendor performance against service level expectations.
Coordinate vendor access and onsite activities, and supervise contractors performing specialized maintenance, repairs, and construction.
Maintain compliance with applicable regulations, company policies, and training.
Maintain complete and accurate records of maintenance activities and inspections.
Responsible for management of hazardous material and waste programs, including collection, identification, segregation, labelling, storage, measurement/weighing, manifesting, and disposal in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
High school diploma or GED
1-3 years of facilities maintenance experience supporting corporate office environments.
Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance requirement.
Strong communication, customer service skills, organization skills, and team player.
Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
Ability to read and interpret floor plans and technical manuals.
Experience using a CMMS (work order system).
Possess troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex building system issues.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work at heights, on ladders, and in mechanical spaces.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
