Job summary

UCLA Housing & Hospitality Services seeks a Facilities Worker to support UCLA properties with cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs of HVAC equipment and building systems. The role includes preparing forms and reports and assisting senior staff as needed.

The position requires ability to operate standard tools, read diagrams and work under varied conditions, including lifting up to 50 lbs and working overtime as needed. Full-time schedule with 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience with heating, ventilation and refrigeration equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing/electrical diagrams and work orders.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning, lubrication and minor maintenance of HVAC components (grills, registers, coils, fans).
• Assist senior staff with repairs and document work orders and reports.
• Read and interpret plumbing and electrical diagrams and work orders.
