Job summary

Simon at Jersey Shore Premium Outlets is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to inspect, repair, and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and structural elements.

The role requires 2–3 years of maintenance experience, ability to read plans and blueprints, and capable to lift up to 50 pounds. Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays; valid driver’s license is required. This position supports various departments to ensure safe, well‑maintained premises.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years building maintenance experience performing carpentry, HVAC, electrical, mechanical and plumbing functions.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings and comprehend instructions.
• Paint, electrical, plumbing, and drywall skills.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently and diagnose problems on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facility; troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Perform maintenance/minor repairs on interior/exterior areas including painting, drywall, lighting and fixtures.
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and maintain cleanliness of property.
• Support other departments for events and leasing with carts placement and repair.
• Follow OSHA standards to promote a safe working environment.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance programs as assigned.
