Job summary

CANPACK Group in Indiana is seeking a hands-on Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day upkeep of buildings, utilities, and plant infrastructure, ensuring safe and reliable operations.

You will conduct routine maintenance, support inspections, and assist external contractors, while adhering to safety procedures and internal processes. This role requires practical problem-solving in an industrial setting and collaboration with Production, Maintenance, and HSE teams.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in facility maintenance or similar role.
• Experience in industrial or production environment is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of building infrastructure and maintenance processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular checks and basic monitoring of technical condition of buildings and infrastructure.
• Carry out routine maintenance and support scheduled inspections.
• Follow safety and regulatory requirements with proper documentation.
• Support external inspectors and service providers during audits.
• Identify and report issues, damages, and risks.
• Assist with minor repairs and renovations and supervise contractors when needed.
• Operate and monitor basic facility utilities (electricity, water, HVAC, etc.).
• Maintain cost awareness by reporting material usage and anomalies.
• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, HSE and other departments.
• Perform cleaning and general facility upkeep to ensure safe conditions.
