Job summary

PlanetArt, a leading maker of personalized products, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician in Woodridge, IL to support the Maintenance department and production area. The role involves routine upkeep, preventative care, and assisting with larger equipment repairs.

Candidates should have a HS diploma and 1–2 years of maintenance experience, with the ability to read, write, and speak English. The position may require extended shifts and weekend hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years maintenance/troubleshooting experience or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write and speak English with the warehouse team.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• General upkeep of interior and exterior building maintenance.
• Preventative facility care including changing bulbs and HVAC filters.
• Safety inspections of extinguishers and exits; maintain grounds.
• Use CMMS (MaintainX) to close work orders and track supplies.
• Assist maintenance technicians and move materials during repairs.
• Assist with repair of powered and gravity conveyors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
