Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Athens is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform cleaning, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs across facilities, grounds, buildings, and equipment. Responsibilities include following work orders, basic electrical repairs, and operating ground and material-handling equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, documentation, and teamwork in a manufacturing setting. The candidate should have a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of related maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum two years in a maintenance role or eligible for related apprenticeship.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Forklift experience preferred; certification required on hire.
• Experience with hand tools and basic electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and specs to determine tasks and priorities.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor building electrical issues.
• Repair and maintain external building, grounds, plumbing, and other systems.
• Monitor fluid levels and change fluids as needed.
• Clean facilities; sanitize restrooms and break rooms; manage waste.
• Operate mower or grounds equipment; perform snow/ice removal as required.
• Operate forklift and other material-handling equipment; may use cranes.
• Transport parts and materials; record data in ERP or work order system.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper tool storage.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to PPE requirements.
