Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training a plus.
• Previous experience in facilities/building maintenance preferred.
• General knowledge of building systems and basic maintenance practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry issues.
• Capable of safely using common hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine facility inspections and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Carry out general building repairs, minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on systems, equipment, and fixtures.
• Replace bulbs, fixtures, filters, tiles, hardware as needed.
• Assist with furniture moves, workstation setup, and space modifications.
• Maintain organized mechanical rooms and storage areas.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized work.
• Monitor contractor work and report facility issues to the team.
• Assist with receiving, moving, and installing equipment and supplies.
• Support safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and facility policies at all times.
• Respond to urgent facility issues and aid in troubleshooting.
