Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Minimum of 1 year in maintenance or related field.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver license with a clean driving record.
• Detail oriented, organized, self-motivated, able to work independently and with a team.
• Good written and verbal skills; strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Establish a work order system and maintain it.
• Inspect buildings and facilities; initiate repairs as needed.
• Follow safety procedures; operate tools safely.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Lock, check, and safeguard facilities per procedures.
• Inventory equipment and supplies; order as needed.
• Adhere to safety training; protect wellbeing of self and others.
• Perform general maintenance (painting, light fixtures, minor plumbing/carpentry).
• Maintain church grounds; move furniture and office equipment as requested.
• Complete trainings timely; uphold confidentiality and Code of Conduct.
• Provide front-office support (answer phones, greet visitors) as needed.
