Job summary

The Orenda Center of Wellness in Frederick, MD is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support the Facilities Manager. The role includes daily site maintenance, repairs, and handling supplies; requires independent work and teamwork.

Prior facilities or construction experience is required, with background check and drug screen as part of hiring. Competitive hourly pay with benefits, including insurance, holidays, PTO, and 401(k) after one year.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma is required.
• Ability to pass a background check & drug screen.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily/weekly maintenance checks.
• Carry out building repairs and respond to service calls.
• Transport and dispense farm/building supplies; manage inventory.
• Maintain facilities equipment and assist with special projects.
• Follow directions and complete tasks independently and on time.
