Job summary

Caesars Entertainment Corporation is seeking a Facilities Technician I to support maintenance across casino, barge, and hotel properties. You will execute daily tasks, repairs, and preventive maintenance under the Facilities Supervisor and Manager, with an emphasis on safety and efficient operations.

The role requires physical work, willingness to learn the skill set including welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems, and a commitment to exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Five years of experience in maintenance fields.
• Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
• Must have and hold a state issued Driver’s License and have a clean MVR for 2-year period (no at-fault accidents).
• Previous Casino experience is helpful.
• Ability to work well with others. Good oral communication skills and organizational skills are a must.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

- Responsible for maintenance projects as assigned by the Facilities Supervisor and Manager, perform duties as required for the casino and surrounding assets, provide maintenance of casino, barge, and hotel under the direction of the Supervisor. See back page for the available skill set.

• Demonstrates proper use of safety practices in all procedures.

1. Immediately report unsafe incidents or unsafe conditions when they occur to the supervisor.

3. Must assist patrons in answering questions and directing them to areas of safety during emergencies as directed by management, security, or facilities crew members.
4. Must attend OSHA and related safety training.

• Return equipment to proper location, in proper working condition, properly emptied of solutions, cleaned and ready for next use.

1. Demonstrate proper equipment usage according to department standards.
2. Customer concerns in the employee’s area of responsibility are handled immediately and reported to the supervisor for follow-up.

• Must adhere to all company/departmental policies and procedures.Must be aware and adhere to internal control rules.
