St. Andrew United Methodist Church in Highlands Ranch, CO is seeking a reliable custodian to maintain interior and exterior areas, and perform daily room setups for meetings and services within a dynamic church environment.

The role involves cleaning with heavy equipment, basic maintenance, and assisting with events. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and a background check will be conducted. This is a nonexempt hourly position, $18–$22 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial and maintenance experience preferred.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Clean building interiors and exteriors using heavy equipment.
• Maintain custodial equipment in good working order.
• Set up rooms and outdoor areas for routinely scheduled meetings, services and events.
• Respond to requests for set-up of facilities and equipment for special events.
• Perform minor repairs on equipment and building structures.
• Familiarize yourself with equipment and controls used throughout the facilities.
• Support Preschool and/or Kids Ministry with spill and accident cleanup as needed.
