Job summary

Brookfield Properties is seeking a Facilities Technician to support operations at Music Factory (NC). The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining building systems, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with event setup and decor.

You will work with the operations team to uphold safety standards, manage basic repairs, and support daily property management tasks across interior and exterior areas. 

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2–3 years in building maintenance or related field.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans, and schematics.
• Self-starter able to work independently.
• OSHA 10-Hour certification a plus.
• Bilingual is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Operate equipment for preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance like painting, plumbing, lighting, and roofing.
• Maintain inventory, records, and safety data sheets.
• Assist with events setup and mall decor.
• Provide custodial support and assist with snow removal as needed.
• Adhere to Brookfield Properties Safety, Health, and Environment policies.
