Job summary

Brookfield Properties in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Facilities Technician to assist with safety plans, maintenance, repairs, and event setup across the Music Factory site. You will perform interior/exterior maintenance, basic repairs, painting, lighting, plumbing, and custodial tasks while following OSHA guidelines and company safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of building maintenance experience.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings; follow instructions.
• OSHA 10-Hour course is a plus; bilingual is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and equipment.
• Operate equipment for preventive maintenance and minor repairs; keep property clean.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance including painting, drywall, plumbing, lighting, and landscaping.
• Assist with inventory records, MSDS, supplies, equipment, and tools.
• Support events setup and decor installation/removal; assist in snow removal if needed.
• Provide custodial support and interact with tenants and the public as required.
• Adhere to Brookfield Properties’ Safety, Health, and Environment policies; participate in training.
