Responsibilities

• Performs routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on City buildings, offices, public facilities, and associated property.
• Inspects facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, deterioration, equipment problems, and potential repairs before they become significant failures.
• Troubleshoots building and facility problems to determine the probable cause and appropriate course of action.
• Performs minor carpentry, painting, plumbing and electrical work and hardware repair as trained.
• Maintains tools, equipment, supplies, and records of work performed.
