Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets and seeks a Journeyman-level Facilities Technician in Goleta, CA to maintain and repair facility structures, equipment, grounds, and building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. You will collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineering to install and maintain production infrastructure.

This on-site role requires CAD experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks); familiarity with small-scale

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical, process and building piping.
• Experience with facility remodeling, office and lab setup, teardown and moving.
• CAD software experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks); 3D printing a plus.
• Proficient in safe operation of shop equipment and adherence to safety practices.
• Knowledge of building and electrical codes (UBC, UFC, NEC, state and local).
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Provide journeyman-level facilities maintenance and repairs to structures, equipment, grounds and building systems.
• Install and maintain facility infrastructure supporting production operations.
• Conduct facility inspections and work from blueprints and sketches to complete projects.
• Participate in rotating 24/7 on-call schedule; respond to site emergencies within 25 minutes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Process Engineering and support CAD-based projects.
