Job summary

Big Canyon Country Club is a private club seeking a full-time Facilities Technician 2 to support engineering/maintenance operations across the club. The role covers building systems, safety, and guest-facing services in a high-end hospitality environment.

The technician will repair and maintain mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment, perform drywall, painting, lighting tasks, and ensure overall facility reliability. Experience in hospitality or luxury settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of commercial/industrial maintenance.
• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Certified Pool Operator preferred.
• Five years of maintenance experience required.
• Hospitality or luxury resort/club experience preferred.
• Attention to detail to ensure safe, exemplary work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all building systems and the building to ensure safety for members and staff.
• Repair mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Perform drywall, lighting, painting, and general maintenance tasks.
• Manage and repair HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Address potential safety hazards.
• Pool maintenance including chemical balance, pumps and filters.
• Process work orders as assigned.
• Operate and manage the Club’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Big Canyon Country Club is a private country club that fosters a culture focused on the growth and development of its team, all while providing the best in hospitality and experience for its members and their families.Facilities Technician 2Big Canyon Country Club is looking for a full-time Facilities Technician 2 who will participate in all engineering/maintenance operations throughout the club.Duties & ExpectationsConducting oneself in a professional manner to reflect the high standards of the Big Canyon Country ClubMaintaining all building related systems and the building itself to ensure the safety of members, guests, employees, and vendorsPerforming repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment.Performing general maintenance such as drywalling, lighting, painting and general functionalityManaging and repairing HVAC and plumbing systems to guarantee functionalityFixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesPool maintenance – Chemical balance, pumps filters, etc.Performing work orders as assignedMaintaining inventory records for equipment and suppliesOperating and management of the Club’s Computerized Maintenance Management System.Skills & QualificationsMust have advanced knowledge and experience of Commercial industrial general maintenance including but not limited to Mechanicals, Stored energy and General Maintenance such as painting patching and staining, and/or related fieldsMust have experience performing repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundryequipmentCertified Pool Operator preferred5 years of previous maintenance experience requiredPrevious experience in hospitality, country clubs, luxury resort or hotels preferredMust have attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner, and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlookedAbility to work independently with minimal supervision.Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate to heavy amount of weight (minimum of 50 lbs.)Ability to multi-task in a faced paced, high-pressure environmentMust have a flexible schedule for both AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidaysAbility to learn quickly and work in fast-paced position with member interactionHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
