Job summary

E-commerce Industry in Westborough, MA is seeking a Facilities Technician for a 9+ month contract. Onsite, Mon-Fri, paying $18-$22 per hour. You will troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, follow SOPs, and support process improvements with a hands-on, safety-conscious approach.

The role requires quality focus, strong English communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, fault finding, equipment installation, repair, or debugging.
• Experience working in a manufacturing, production, testing, or industrial environment.
• Ability to independently manage multiple assignments, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow complex technical documentation and SOPs.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail when inspecting, assembling, and documenting hardware.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and products using physical observations and available data.
• Perform fault finding, root-cause analysis, debugging, installation troubleshooting, and equipment/product repairs.
• Assemble first-article builds, test fixtures, racks, wiring, and related hardware with accuracy and traceability.
• Conduct detailed hardware inspections and identify, document, and elevate discrepancies.
• Maintain and update SOPs to reflect process improvements and operational changes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on tooling, consumables, test setups, and process optimization.
• Execute defined manufacturing processes while identifying and escalating deviations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and help improve production processes.
• Follow all quality, safety, documentation, and equipment-handling requirements.
